Practice Areas  we routinely assist clients in a wide variety of employment related practice areas:

We help clients with all issues arising in the workplace.  We work closely with HR and in-house counsel, emphasizing prevention and compliance to help clients avoid claims or to be well positioned when claims do arise. When necessary, we defend claims in all venues (litigation, arbitration, mediation).

We review company handbooks, policies and procedures for company-wide consistency and multi-state compliance, and we assist foreign companies with US compliance.  We draft comprehensive employment agreements (including non-competes, non-disclosures, separation and severance agreements) and review internal documentation and routinely walk HR and management through sensitive or problematic disciplinary situations.  
We assist with preparing documentation and self-audits (FLSA/overtime, ​​affirmative action)

Additionally, we offer an array of customized training programs and one-on-one coaching programs, and we conduct workplace investigations. We advise on individual terminations and reductions in force, as well as employment issues arising in mergers & acquisitions, bankruptcies and other corporate restructurings, including WARN Act, NLRA and OWBPA compliance.  We assist companies in responding to governmental audits, agency charges and any other workplace issues that arise in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
