Lori Waxman served as Employment Counsel, AVP and Head of Corporate Affairs at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (1997-2004). At the Fed, she counseled general counsel, clients, including in-house counsel, HR and managers throughout the bank, on employment law matters and significant policy and corporate matters. She worked closely with Human Resources and the Equal Employment Opportunity department and oversaw all terminations of employment, disciplinary situations, DOL, EEO and NYLL issues, EEO investigations and workplace and compliance trainings bankwide.

Ms. Waxman began her legal career as an associate at Kaye Scholer LLP in the Labor & Employment group (1992-1997). She counseled clients on a full range of employment issues and defended against administrative charges and civil lawsuits involving alleged violations of Title VII, the ADEA, ADA , FMLA and FLSA.

With extensive in-house experience, Ms. Waxman counsels clients, including HR departments, on the full range of Employment Law and Employee Relations matters. Ms. Waxman conducts workplace trainings and investigations, counsels on disciplinary actions and performance management, drafts and updates handbooks to implement policies and procedures and ensure compliance, and provides general advice and counsel on all labor and employment law issues.

Ms. Waxman is admitted to practice before the State Courts in New York as well as the Federal Courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. She routinely audits compliance for all 50 states.
